Buying bulk grains and beans is not only budget friendly, having these on hand is the basis of a multitude of wholesome meals! I decanted the grains and beans I use most often in cooking into glass cracker jars, which are great because they have a wide mouth which can accommodate a scoop or measuring cup. Gone from my pantry cabinet are the messy, clipped bags and instead I can see what I have, what I’m running low on, and I don’t buy duplicates of what’s already at home. Plus, when I pull out this drawer, I feel like I’m shopping at an old general store.
