Rose Bowl

As if on cue, each of my rose bushes have burst into full bloom this week. Their glory only lasts for a few days, so I am clipping as many flowers as I can to enjoy everywhere inside, deadheading spent blooms and fertilizing the plants with hope for another bloom or two this summer and into the fall. While English garden roses don’t last long as cut flowers, I savor their beauty from first snip until final petal drop!
