English Tea Party Bridal Shower

My sister, Christina, and I hosted a tea-themed bridal shower for a friend a couple of summers ago. With the abundance of flowers from my cutting garden we knew there would be in late summer, we immediately settled on our theme. We put together a sweets & savories menu, served bubbly and a special black vanilla blend tea, and tucked teacups and flowers on every surface. My favorite detail was the last-minute flower crown we put together to surprise our bride when she walked in the door!

For dessert! Lemon squares, lemon curd and raspberry tartlets, white buttercream cupcakes, chocolate mousse in prepared chocolate cups, and fruit parfaits served with fresh whipped cream
