Chinoiserie Christmas Tree

I have a little collection of blue and white vases that I display in our dining room beneath some beautiful hand-painted birds on silk. While I am minimizing our Christmas decorations this year, I wanted to add a new statement piece that complements the decor of our dining room that I won’t tire of year after year. I dreamed up the idea for this tree (an existing feather tree I already had in my collection), one day while I was looking at the motifs on the pottery. With some acrylic paints, I mimicked the designs on matte glass ornaments and tied each ornament on the tree with a burgundy ribbon for a #chinoiseriechic Christmas!
