Derby Day Cocktail

In preparation for the Kentucky Derby tomorrow (and the Kentucky Oaks today!) I will be picking out my hat to watch the races from home, with something to sip on of course! Despite the heaps of mint in my garden that would be perfect for a julep, I recently learned about this new cocktail that will be offered at the track this weekend. I love that it’s low in extra sweetness and high in refreshing flavor — exactly what I prefer!

The Finnish Line

• 1 1/4 oz. Grapefruit Vodka, such as Finlandia*

• 4 oz. Sparkling Grapefruit Water, such as LaCroix

• Grapefruit Slice

Combine ingredients over crushed ice. Add a garnish of a grapefruit slice and serve.
