This is a simple “recipe” for my favorite, quick snack mix. I like to fill up an empty jam jar to keep at my desk for a little afternoon snack that satisfies a sweet tooth, but also satiates.
The ratio is about 6 ounces (half a bag) of white chocolate chips, a pound of raw almonds (for roasting), and 3 ounces of dried cherries. To roast almonds, spread out on a cookie sheet and bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes. Let cool and then mix together. Store in an airtight container.
Simple and easy! Preferred over pre-maid mixes! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thanks for your comment! 🙂
Pre-made 🙂
I forget about dried cherries and white chocolate! Great combo
Yes! And throw these elements into a chocolate chip cookie dough base, and you have a seriously good cookie!
